these could be simplified a bit tbh
Double Shots/Rocket Shots/Tiger Shots
Technique/First Touch
Lifting
Feinting
Sweeping
Bouncing
^ these skills for all those overlap a lot, they could probably just be re-ordered as 'ball contol' and 'wall skills' or somethin like that, since those are more distinct
Pushing/Blocking
Positioning (Marking/Off The Ball) (especially for a GK -playing 4 in attack- and a ST -messing about with the DM-)
Anticipation
Rushing Out
^ could be re-ordered as Defensive and Offensive positioning; blocking is basically just a subset of positioning as you don't really have to be any more than 'in the way' to block, rushing out is just defensive positioning for goalkeepers
probably just merge the goalkeeping attributes to 'saves', I reckon all the other attributes cover everything else.
Though hard really to draw the line between observed characteristics of players and inherent characteristics, someone who doesn't understand the game very well might notice a lot of things going on and assume each requires a different skill, whereas in reality it may just be a handful of different 'attributes' a person can have governing lots of different observed skills.
Seeing who's the best at and why, in any game or sport will always be an intriguing question, and I'm sure people like you will think about what the answer will be (and disagree with other philosophers like you) until the end of time (not haxball though, that will be dead by 2017 at best RIP, but for other games that people will move onto, and shit like football nd cricket...)
mashallahhhhhh
