People will get better or they'll leave, of course we'd take a hit in switching but then we'd gain again no worries. And if we don't then what's it matter how many fuckers are in this league, makes it easier for the rest of us, not like we get money off of this otherwise I would try to get/keep as many as possible who are paying me.

and l0l @ovo have you seen some of the scoresheets this season? 14-0's, quite a lot of goals scored in most matches? 4-0 is a high scoring game even so yeah that wouldn't matter.

the reason i voted for big is that it is already hard for newcomers to get a team, with big easy it will make it even harder for newcomers to get a team. which means some players will leave, and i bet the majority of the players leaving will be ones who actually use the chat box, and the community will get even shittier.

furthermore i don't think FM is ready for big easy yet, have you seen some of the cup games? in some matches it's just a spam match and it's kinda boring.

How will it be harder for newcomers who are use to 3v3 to adapt to big ez than 4v4? imo Big ez and 3v3 is more similar than 3v3 and 4v4

When we originally switched to 4v4 it only took half a season for most teams to learn how to play it properly. If you play a certain type of game week in week out as opposed to once every while then you will improve a lot faster. The logic would say that it should be even easier for teams to adapt to big easy as they've had some form of experience already, and it won't take long for those who aren't that good at it now to catch up to those excelling.

Reading stuff like 5on5, huge, big ez would apparently require more skill,...oh my
I'm having a hard time reading all that kind of stuff and not start insulting ppl randomly.
Didn't wanna get involved in this discussion because I know how this is gonna end, but i cant hold it back any longer >:[ (yes very mad)

Facts:

Big(3 def):
- Pretty much every "nation" plays it(except CZ and Russkis)
=> Makes it easier for teams to compete if all of them have the same experience such as playing the same field.
Current situation: more big leagues than big ez leagues.

- Not too crowded in defense and there is a 3on3 situation in front of the goal (seems fair to me)

- 3-men-def-rule coming from HBC(French League) and it was created back then to avoid a crowdy defense and get more space for attackers.
The original rule also said "as soon as a 4th(most likely the GK) attacker is getting involved in attack the opponent team is allowed to defend with 4 people aswell (4on4 situation)" (Ask Vidic the original founder of HBC)

I don't know which 3-men-def-rule FM is using, but according to the pics in the written rules(here in FM) and from what ive heard I'm assuming its a mix of both HBC and esports(which isnt clearly defined there either imo)
Nevertheless. Next Fact:

Big Easy:
- Played in NC or CC (Also ridiculous decision by ESL concerning CC back that time)
=> Gathering experience through League Games (Big Ez)

- Wider goals obviously
=> Leading to more (and beautiful) goals?

- very crowded defense because of 4-men-def
=> More skill required?

System:
Mainly played "triangle" or "box" for those 2 different fields.

Coming to an end now.
Big because:
People are used to it and know how to play. Lots of leagues are playing it. Most and best competitive field.
Its arguable if its easier to a newbie to start either with big inlcuding 3 def or big easy.
Most of the ppl who decided joining a league have been playing public already. iirc esports or other ppl open rooms like "4on4 3 def" and if those newbies dont know how to play they get banned instantly. Next time they join they will ask how is it played and will put effort not to get banned and will learn the rule. Its simple as it is.

Not Big Ez because:
Who is saying "YO, you have to play "triangle" on big and "box" on big ez " ? It has absolutely nothing to do with the chosen field neither opponent nor the 3-/4-men def !
So in one point I'm agreeing with some people here, but ofc i dont fully agree there. Its all about the skill of an individual therefore of the whole team. Its not the "Big ez requires more skill".If a team knows how to defend in big they will also defend very well in big ez.

Skipping 5on5 and Huge suggestions. Ridiculous ! No need to argue about that :D

Not arguing against NC or CC point. Its ok to gain some exp, but arent cup games enough? I cant either understand why are those played Big Ez, but ok thats not what the discussion is about.
Why wider goals? To make it easier to score some (beautiful) goals against a good deffending team?
If you wanna score more goals, be better. If you dont wanna lose, be better.
Think of new tactics new formation whatsoever, but dont go the easier way and try to change the surroundings. Never change a running system!

Haters gonna hate ! :x :x

You can't really have tactics on big because of the 3 man def rule, it just restricts what you can do. Look at the best teams that play 4v4 3 def, they all play in very similar ways, Big Easy allows you to create your own tactics in a way, cba to make more arguements - you're entitled to your opinion.

Its a fact that big easy takes more skill tbh.
Not skills like wall bounces neccessarily - But positioning, movement etc is more important.

Another thing i feel like pretty much everybody is good at haxball now - Some better then others of course and then you have the likes of aguero but in general, everone's at a decent level. Changing to big easy would be good to seperate all the decent people from the good people and from the good people to the very good people.

My 2 cents
