FM's FIFA Ratings

Talk about haxball in here, maps, sides, players, tactics, anything related to the game.

I think we're overrating ourselves. I would rather remove 10 points from everyone, leaving room for improving.
Besides, anyone here having 90 or more is way overkill if 99 is perfection. I see alot of good players here, but not that good.

A player with about 90 rating imo, should have very high offensive and defensive awareness to start with (based on role) to be able to read the play, then the creativity and tactical mind to act on it, plus the skills to make it happen. That includes teamwork, positioning, pass/cross, touch, long shots, dribbling, blocking etc..

I'd rate the best player around here for about 82 just to give you guys some perspective on my view.

I completely agree with this. I think the worst players are underrated too, bar one or two players.

Best player gets given 85. Says take 10 off everyone, then says the best here is 82, only 3 off what was put.

Blazing you're a mong too. people can cross, it's just you that can't.

I suppose I was exaggerating too when I said 82, probably because I read some posts about how some should be rated 90+. Though I still stand by what I said about lowering the score. Don't get me wrong though, 75 is still a whole lot better than the average player imo and it would give lots of room for potential improvement. Other than that it looks to me like balanced ratings.

To further discuss my point:

Donny wrote:Don't think of this as being one of the worst players, everyone in that list is a decent player tbh. No one ball chase or misses open goals over and over again. You'd be 20's if you did that.

The 20-29 bracket seems quite high for someone who would play like that imo, which is why I would rather lower the score for everyone instead of wasting 10 good points that could better describe highly skilled players (which we have an interest in rating) but are now reserved for people that would genuinely forget which team they're playing for.

Ill organise it to be re done in the next few days, seeing as people are interested by randomly rejecting some of the original members of the site.

Ollie and myself cant be ranked individually though. Must be opcath

Right, I'll kind of do this. I need four volunteers to rate the players, I'll post on here a list of all the players then the four people PM me their ratings back and I'll do one too aswell as average the five ratings for a fair reflection. Post in here if you fancy rating them.

Maddude
Mick

Done.
