Newspapers

Postby Constantinople » March 27th, 2012, 3:18 pm

Anyone read them? If so, what?

I only read The Metro, but it's a good paper. I also like The Guardian.

Mainly the Sun for their sports pages and Jeremy Clarkson, and occasionally the DM cause my Dad reads it. (INB4 I get called a Tory Twat (I hate all politics!))

Oh and also them Tig Ol Bitties on Page3 too!

I read the sun if I just want something light to kill time. I also read the daily mail, I disagree with almost everything in it. But wheres the fun in only reading things you agree with.

I read The Guardian on a Saturday because we get it delivered then, but generally just read the news on my phone.

I use to read El País, El Mundo, ABC and Expansión. But by the web.

Spanish newspapers, of course.

You don't hate all politics though, do you? I don't think anyone does. What an absurd thing to say.

I'm afraid that voicing anything other than total disgust and contempt towards any one of the Sun, the Daily Mail, and/or Jeremy Clarkson (let alone all three) does make you a bona fide Tory twat. Which is fine, but you need to get to grips with the fact that you don't 'hate all politics', you 'actively quite enjoy centre-right politics', and are a conservative with a small 'c' if not a big one. Perhaps this will help: http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

I subscribe to the Guardian, in case it wasn't obvious from my smug, patronising tone. Image
