I find these player costs to be retarded and extremely insulting.

to naho: If you were to look at the player costs purely as representations of dooms' opinions of the players' individual skill, then yes they probably would seem rather retarded. But you have to consider what dooms (and everyone else that gave their opinions, including myself) was trying to achieve was creating a balanced game which means assessing a players ability to score points for their owner, something that depends on their expected activity, chance of appearing in the starting lineup, quality of their teammates and their attitude to the game as well.

Even though, for example, jonnyynnoj is only priced at 8m coins and Song1 is priced at 11m, it's not that we're trying to argue that Song1 is a better player than jonny, merely Song1 has a better chance of scoring points due to jonny being inactive lately, whereas Song has a much better chance of starting for his team.
