23/01 - Winter Cup (Random Teams) - TONIGHT!!
Posted: January 23rd, 2020, 3:20 pmSince FM kick-off is moved to Sunday, and we won't have time for the Winter Cup, I have decided to do it tonight.
It is supposed to be a "fun"cup so random teams will be drafted before the start of the cup.
Let me explain myself: every team will be composed by 5 (or 6, depending on the amount of applications) players, and it will follow no position, fm team or any other criteria. Every team will be made randomly.
Since it is a major cup, the winners will get the "Winter Cup" tag on ts, so don't miss it.
Info about the cup:
Every player has to register himself here under this topic or on ts(I'll be' back home from work in 1/2h, so you will have enough time on ts)
Registrations end at 19.40 CET
The cup will start at 20:00 CET, and it will be a 1 night cup, so no delays will be allowed (deflosses will be' given if delays occur)
I will use that 20 min break to draft the teams (randomly ofc, maybe with challonge so it will be faster)
Every team will agree on in-game positions by themselves, and I kindly ask that everyone plays, so that nobody will be' left out, even if low skilled or for any other reason.
We need 80 players to have 16 teams of 5 people each, so that we have a nice group stage, but if somehow we get to 160 it would be even better.
Settings:
Group stage: 2x7 min
Final: 2x10 min
Map: Big
In case of ties in the group stage we will follow this exact order to determine which team will be better ranked: win vs tie-break team -> goal difference -> goals scored
