Season 10 Mini World Cup
Posted: May 14th, 2014, 6:56 pmWe want to host a World Cup Funcup. So every Team which signs up plays as one nation of the upcoming world cup.
The difference to usual Funcups is you don't wear your clubs colours but play as the nation you have chosen, so use the names of the players of the current nation squads and change the flag to your country.
For the organization in the cup, you only communicate with the Supporters, which means it remains secret which team plays as what nation till the cup has ended. We are asking you NOT to reveal your secret identities or the nation you are playing for, until the cup has ended. We will resolve which team played for which country after the final game. (Seriously don't reaveal it to anyone, this will screw up the whole idea behind this cup

After the sign up has ended the captains will be contacted by the cup Supporters in Teamspeak about the decision which team you get.

Team Captains can do check-ins. You only post here and confirm your participation of your team. Countries will be assigned when the check-in ended.

Other Teams: These Teams will have to have a squad of at least 6 persons.
Players can be added at any time. A Player who played before in a Team and his Team is already disqualified, isn't allowed to take part at the tournament anymore.

Schedule + Seeding:
All teams in one pot. Fixtures gonna be released at the same day some hours before the Fun Cup starts.
Format:
Flag Change:
(Make sure you restart haxball after choosing your country, else it won't has any effect)
Groupstage followed by Finalstage
We will try to have groups with 4 teams in each. Maximum amount of teams on waiting list will be always 3. A 4th team on the waiting list will give us the opportunity to create another Group.
For instance 11 Participants: 2 Groups with 4 Teams each and 3 Teams on the Waiting List
2 Groups: First two will advane to finalstage (4/8 )
3 Groups: First two + 2 best 3rd ranked teams will advance to finalstage (8/12)
4 Groups: First two will advance to finalstage (8/16)
5 Groups: First three + best 4th ranked team will advance to finalstage (16/20)
6 Groups: First two + 4 best 3rd ranked teams will advance to finalstage (16/24)
7 Groups: First two + 2 best 3rd ranked teams will advance to finalstage (16/28 )
8 Groups: First two will advance to finalstage (16/32)
Mode: 4on4
Stadium: Big
Goal Limit: None
Time Limit: 2x5 (2x7 Final Game)
Overtime: Goal limit 1, switch sides every 5 min (Final Stage only, no Overtime in Group Stage)
Substitutions: After a goal, after half time or both captains agree while game is paused

At Fun Cup day each captain of every team will have to deliver their results to one of the listed organisators above.
Fun Cup organisators will contact the Team Captains and will deliver a roomlink. Final game can be streamed if wished.
