Yeah, I said sorry was they aren't really who I am directing the umbrella term of 'foreigners' for.

I'm only saying this because the main UK base of FM has become largely disillusioned with the volume of foreign players who are playing in the league that I believe something drastic like reing FM as it were is needed. I'm sure you've heard me and Ren joke about things like this on commentaries but I'm sure others have the same opinion as I have. I'm also sure that the FM admins won't do anything as drastic as this (unfortunately in my eyes) so teams like Overdose and h0bA will continue to play in FM; which is probably no bad thing I guess.

i didn't mean only allow people who speak english i said change the rule a little and just allow peepol from abroad who have been in FM before whether as player or captain and have shown some kind of respect for the league and the community

some examples,

chillmaz, tello, most of their players, doooooodle, destorm, most of the dutchies and belgies etc

foreign players aren't the problem, its the captains that signed up and pretty much all got given a team, expanded too quick and then there were no teams to replace them when they lose interest/gave up, just dont give out captain to stupid amounts of people and this discussion wouldnt really be happening D:

they treat YeS as #1 and fm #2, and i dont really see how you could change that, unless it did go to big easy so there would be no comparison, >renhan or fm went back to a draft which although you'd lose a fair few captains/teams, the people that did actually care about fm would stay, plus you'd have a more community feel mebbe

you'd have to be pretty gutsy to be turning people away, especally if they are foreign cus people could and should take it the wrong way, how would you find out if they prefer YeS aswell, just ask them which they prefer and if they dont say fm is their favourite say no you're not allowed in, its a tough one

I was going to say that but I think he means that FM was your first league, so you went to Yes from FM aside from the other way round.

yeh kinda that as well mlf and i suppose not just if people consider YeS to be #1 cos i know quite a few of us do but people who consider YeS to be #1 AND don't care about FM at all BECAUSE it is #2 to them, it's ok for people who care slightly about FM, respect league games and turn up to them too

Most of the Div 1 caps and teams are absolutely fine imo, the situation is just like it was in season 4 but the admins can't really be blamed. There were a lot of signups and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to expand; a decision that has unfortunately backfired.

I would say disband any team that has had say 3 deflosses, see who is willing to sign up next season and take things from there. don't really think div2 A and div2 B really worked either, but that's no fault of the admins. If captains don't feel truly committed to the cause then they shouldn't sign up in the first place.

It is the fault of the admins to give some of those captains captaincy in the first place though in my opinion; as well as the fact that it was their decision to expand the league from 20 -> 30 teams which considering we were going into summer then wasn't really the most wise decision. Of course you can't really foresee teams disbanding and they of course they did appoint captaincy in the confidence that they wouldn't disband - so the admins aren't totally to blame.

this is my 2nd + 1/2 season here in fm

never wildcarded a game never not showed up for a game

but i can't say some of the comments here make me want to disband and say fuck it

it's august, people have lifes, you opened a 2nd division and accepted all kind of teams with little filter. It's obvious you're gonna get a high amount of def wins. it's not the end of the world.

come september people will be playing haxball more often
