This situation itself is hard to rate imo, but i still see weird behaviour at lagg goals etc quite often and would like to say some basic things about behaviour in such a situation.
I think sometimes people forget really to think about whats fair and what not, i will give some examples:
1. I had it in this and last season in one match. The opponent team started playing with a GK who was obviously lagging regulary. The game got paused when our team was in attack already sometimes, then my team scored, the opponent gk said he spiked there a bit. Many people would give the goal back to be fair - but thats only senseless. The opponent team has to be fair and not playing with a lagging GK, where they only get advantages and like "one goal for free", because it only affects the opponents attack. You can still play with a lagging GK if you want that, but asking for fp there is quite unfair.
2. People are saying after an incident like that "We'll see after the game". Its obvious how shit this is because in haxball you can only win, draw or loose, the opponent has got no clue how to play when you say that. In the end they take maybe risk, you score another goal and afterwards you can celebrate yourself for being fair - that means nothing.
3. After someone lagged, mostly the game continues. But if something like a goal happens then, the lagg-argument is there. So for what is a team between lagg and goal playing then, in case that the lagg isnt obvious? If nothing happens everything is nice, but when they score not? Remember that when you want to have fp after a lagg-goal, or if someone laggs!
4. Eventhough its quite obvious some people still dont know it: fairplay is only up to the captains, the admins wont change anything there. All they do is disbanding a team if they are unfair. Before some seasons for example a team just shot in an empty net eventhough the lagg was quite clear, they obviously didnt care at all about the league and got disbanded, but thats just how it works. (But of course admins have all power and could do anything if they want it)
5. It would be nice if players would have enough respect to the opponent to not act like i saw in this MS-aH rec, many people saying different thiings, other just wanting to continue the match - if everyone except of barca storm and diesel could shut up there and solve the problem fast and nice it would be good.
4+5-> always remember on thing, eventhough admins are making rules and giving the league a base, the players and especially the captains create the league themselves, so you should act wisely in situations like this if you want to have a nice league!
All in all there is fairplay and justice needed, on one hand people who are frightened of acting bad act too nice and are treated unfair then, and on the other hand when people make decisions to not give a goal back and have a reason for it it should be accepted. So that people who dont think about it dont shitstorm other teams.
To this case: The final decision is okay and should be accepted. Barca is no player who laggs regulary, no he is even a host himself, aH is a fair team at all eventhough not everyone has to like them, but in the end there were still enough chances to stop the attack and MS did it nice there. They didnt think about that it could be a lagg and celebrated themselves a lot. Diesel could give fp on a nice sunny day where he doesnt care about his team, in the end it is a hard decision where diesel probably want to disappoint noone to much and this decision is okay. All further shitstorm isnt needed. Love is Justice
