the transfer window thingy is a good way of stop players switching teams like switching clothes (although sometimes there is a reason why people leave teams) but i have a few problems with it.

players who were in disbanded should count as free agents as technically they didn't play a league game, as the game(s) they did play in were changed to a defloss (so how does a 3-0 defloss count as a game which was played by 8 players?).

also before people say "why should we allow teams that didn't care about the league to rejoin different teams", just because the team didn't care doesn't mean that all of the players didn't care. an example of this is of wood berry disbanding. so in that logic are you saying that jonni, one of the head admins didn't care about the league?

also players counting as free agents who played for disbanded teams is practiced by other leagues who use the transfer window method.

after sleeping on it, i think that the old system of teams are only allowed a number of cuts, and a player isnt allowed to leave their team unless the captain cuts them or are traded, and if they retire they can not play for another team.

In the Beneliga we also use a Transfer Window:
- If a player gets cut from the team, he gets suspended for the next matchday (this to avoid teamswapping). Last season we implemented a 2 matchday ban, but it was too harsh for a starting league like us.
- However, if a players leaves by himself, he gets suspended untill the transfer window closes.

seriously there isnt enough players to go around, if we dont allow players of disbanded to join other teams.

I agree, rules are bit too harsh, 8 defwins this week... Or stop expanding the league this much? No shame in taking steps back..
