Feed Me Haxball

An idea I've discussed with a few people, is a cap on the amount of foreign players a team can have, to be introduced next season. With rosters of 7, I think a limit of 3 foreign players is fair. This season we've seen some teams have no UK players. For a UK league, I find that astounding.

So, would you support a foreign player cap?

Nope, it's part of the game now and it makes the quality of haxball much better.

No...FM might be based in the UK but I wouldnt say its for the UK players alone. We want players all over the world coming here and playing hax

It doesnt effect you or anyone else if a team is full of non English players does it? If it does then tell me why it does?

Maybe English haxball players need to step there game up, maybe then more will be picked and scouted for teams..

And having a foreign player cap wouldn't stop them doing that. But, in my opinion, our priority should be on UK based players and giving them an opportunity to play competitively. If there are spaces being taken up by foreign players, then they're being denied that opportunity.

I can see his point. A few teams are mostly foreign now, but it's the same in the premiership for football.

Just leave no cap, but if you win with an all UK team then happy days.

What about a cap of 5 players for the teams of 7? It still allows a good number of foreign players in.

opc says it should be capped at 3 foreign players.

I support the foreign cap of 3.

This is to reserve the league some uniqueness and have 4 players on each team being originals of the league.

If the British players were good enough they'd get signed ahead of the foreign players, but they're not, so foregin players get signed. This is a good thing as it raises the skill level and forces the British players to get better. As Aidan said there's no responsibility on captains to sign British players anyway, it's up to you who you sign and you're so annoyed by it then sign the British players. and look how much foreign players have done for the league: given us a TS server, invited us to CL, IHL etc. If it wasn't for foreign players the league wouldn't be where it is now. You shouldn't be looking to lower the quality and cut down on foreign players, you should be looking to improve the British players.
