Season 3 Match format.

3v3 I voted for the following reasons:

-In my league we play in France in 4v4 Gk-Def - Mil - Attack.

And we have no 4 or 5 but 10 players so if you want to play 4v4 augmanter It will take the place of actual or otherwise it will be a lot of resumes from match to see drop.

This is the opinion of a player who played two seasons in 4v4 and also a Captain.

I will vote 4v4 if we don't have BigEasy and we have a slightly bigger pitch than Big..Otherwise I'll put my vote on 3v3. Maybe not length wise, but more width wise.

- It will be way too crowded.
- If we play a custom stadium, then it will lag a lot more than the default stadiums.
- Basro stated that 3v3 matches are the best to play.
- There isn't anything wrong with the current 3v3 matches. Don't fix it if it's not broken.

Games end 1-0 and 2-1 regularly in /sp/hb, wouldn't worry about too much scoring. The idea that it will be crowded is a personal opinion. Basro's opinion is also just an opinion. There is nothing wrong with 3v3, no argument out of me, but 4v4 allows more people to play, so while it may not be broken, perhaps it could be improved.

I do not want to play on a custom pitch whether it's 3vs3 or 4vs4, I always get de-syncrinized and it's unfair.

I changed my vote from 4v4 to 3v3.

Based on the 4v4 games we've been playing recently, the level of ability most of us have is shockingly bad and most games seem to feel like pub games.

I'd say stick to a 3v3 league but trial 4v4 in the cup next season, which now that we have rosters of 5 would be easier to do.

I voted 3v3 because I basically agree with GOKU - 3v3 is working fine, and implementing a 4v4 cup for next season would a) allow some experimentation with what pitch works best, and b) operate as a trial to see what everyone thinks of it. If it's popular, we can have this debate again for Season 4, only people will have had a taste of competitive 4v4 haxball and therefore be better equipped to judge its merits and shortcomings.

3v3 is defo more fun in my opinion. I don't enjoy playing 4v4 at all really.
I'm still learning my pos in 3v3 so that could be a part of why I hate 4v4, I feel lost in 4v4 games they just seem far too messy.

I think season 4 we may need to go to 4v4 big. With the Champions League starting next week were gonna be at a disadvantage from not having as large squads and not as much experience at 4v4 competitively. Having a 5 man squad in a competition that's 4v4 and where there's a rule that anything less than 4 you'll lose automatically is quite bad.

Allow captains to keep 3 other players and put the squads up to 7 for 4v4 IMO.

But i think most of us here prefer playing 3v3. We shouldn't change to 4s just so we have a better chance of winning in Europe. The aim of this league is to have fun right?

4v4 on big with the 3 man defence rule can be fantastic, but this league just doesn't really know how to play it. Playing it with the Germans, I feel like a fish out of water as most of the time I'm clueless as to what to do. If we just straight up change to 4v4 it wouldn't work, I think we'd need to ease it in and try and practice with German leagues etc to get used to the format.
