Friendly with Pacific Haxball League

Postby maod » May 27th, 2012, 8:15 pm

Hello,

I'm from the Pacific Haxball League (PHL), a 4v4 big easy league comprised mostly of players from the western coast of Canada and the United States. Our 5th season is wrapping up fairly shortly. We are wondering if you all would be interested in a 4v4 big (easy) friendly next week, or the week thereafter.

The best time for a game would probably be SaturdaySunday afternoon for us, evening for you, about 8/9 PM GMT.

Let me know if there is interest.

Thanks.

It is a valid point though, especially with most of you being on the West Coast Image

Aye.

What we've done in the past for long distance games (eg between North/South America) is to play one half a piece in both countries, then score the game on aggregate.

That being said, I've gotten pings of 180-200 in UK rooms which is still very playable, even comparable to cross-continental pings in America. Alternatively, we might be able to host the game on the very Eastern Coast of America or Canada, which would be about halfway in between for everyone.

Ping or no ping I see no reason not to play a game. Should be fun.

Also I remember watching negativebros videos when I was a noob...nice to see you sir

I've played in America a few times and quite a few rooms are playable. You get the odd shit ping ones but most are playable. So if it was home and away game then it would be do-able.

Yeah I'd be up for it, would be pretty good if we could get half decent pings!
