Here I'll post my scout reports of free agents that I'll come across while I'm hosting and recording. Note that this is just one man's opinion based on a small amount of game time, so try not to get offended. The attribute system are taken from Football Manager. Others are ofc welcome to submit their own reports.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: XL
Positions: Midfielder
Games Scouted: 2 (last date: 2012-02-23)

Corners 13
Crossing 12
Dribbling 11
Finishing 13
First Touch 12
Long Shots 11
Marking 8
Passing 10
Tackling 5
Technique 11

Agression 10
Anticipation 15
Concetration 17
Creativity 10
Decisions 14
Determination 16
Flair 13
Off The Ball 14
Positioning 15
Team work 14
Work Rate 12

Best attribute: Reading the game. XL seems very focused throughout the game and his ability to anticipate the play makes him valuable in midfield.

Worst attribute: Stopping opponents. Poor tackling and marking makes XL weak in defensive situations.

Recommendation: XL has the potential to be a good 1st Division player, but should probably start in 2nd Division for more game time and possible improvement.

Scouted him months ago, always thought he was brilliant. However, he can't make Sundays and may miss some Thursdays due to Uni work. :(:(

Name: Boyshock

Dribbling 11
Finishing -
First Touch 14
Long Shots -

Concetration 8
Creativity 8
Decisions 12
Determination 7
Flair 7
Off The Ball 10
Positioning 9
Team work 12
Work Rate 10

Best attribute: Stopping opponents. Boyshock's ability to mark and tackle players makes him very effective as a Defensive Midfielder.

Worst attribute: Corners. His poor ability to handle defensive corners often exposes his own team to dangerous crosses and shots.

Recommendation: Boyshock has the potential to become a good Defensive Midfielder for division 2 or a decent back up GK.

The attributes are rated from 1 to 20. I'm not doing overall ratings though, merely "recommendations".

Name: Gazza
Positions: Midfield (Forward)
Games Scouted: 1 (last date: 2012-02-23)

Corners -
Crossing 7
Dribbling 6
Finishing 13
First Touch 14
Long Shots 9
Marking 6
Passing 8
Tackling 7
Technique 8

Agression 10
Anticipation 12
Concetration 10
Creativity 10
Decisions 12
Determination 10
Flair 6
Off The Ball 8
Positioning 5
Team work 9
Work Rate 11

Best attribute: First Touch. Good reaction times make Gazza dangerous when offered a fast cross or rebound.

Worst attribute: Positioning. Gazza tends to roam too much out of position and often ends up in locations where he'll make no impact or even block a teammate.

Recommendation: (2nd Div) Gazza would be a decent choice for a 2nd division midfielder with the potential of becoming a good forward.

I'm surprised I've gotten so many positive responses Image These reports can easily be very inaccurate should it be based on just 1 or 2 games. For those who wants to be scouted, just look for me in any FM room. I usually host myself in the afternoons, (remember to check for a danish flag)

As I said, these reports are only based on the games I've recorded, so they may not be accurate. Everyone can have a bad day or maybe just fooling around while I happen to record.

These are very good Vargo.

Might I suggest some further clarification on the work rate score - I think that an effectiveness and efficiency score would go further to help clarify this rating, e.g. a midfield player can work extremely hard, pressuring and chasing, but at the same time not be at all effective or efficient in what they do. A keeper can move very little, but be extremely effective and efficient by making saves and good distribution.

If there were a score for that one Griff, i'm sure i'd warrant at least a 19 - call it the headless chicken rating :)

I see your point, but rating effectiveness/efficiency is kinda like giving them an overall rating and would require me to combine several attributes and rank them accordingly to the position in question, which is a lot more complicated. However, if you do combine several attributes and look at them as a whole, you might be able to make your own conclusion of how effective a player really is for the given position. A simple example would be a typical "ball chaser" - highly aggressive player with lots of work rate but low anticipation. This combination of attributes makes a bad player while another combination can make a good one.

Work Rate - How mentally driven a player is to work hard throughout the match.

Name: ~Dooms~
Positions: Forward
Games Scouted: 2 (last date: 2012-02-24)

Corners 8
Crossing 10
Dribbling 6
Finishing 10
First Touch 12
Long Shots -
Marking 11
Passing 9
Tackling 6
Technique 7

Agression 8
Anticipation 11
Concetration 14
Creativity 8
Decisions 10
Determination 14
Flair 5
Off The Ball 14
Positioning 10
Team work 13
Work Rate 12

Best attribute: Off The Ball. ~Dooms~ knows how to move in to a good position to receive the ball.

Worst attribute: Dribbling. ~Dooms~ have a hard time getting past his opponents, also because he's very predictable which is shown in his low flair.

Recommendation: (2nd Division) ~Dooms~ would make a decent forward.
