Well i prefer big, but the national games are big easy, and i can see why national team players would want to play in big easy - so they can improve there.
But yes the champions league is also a major competition so it goes both ways.

It's a hard one...

I think that there community here on FM is starting to die and if we make a massive change like this then it will kill off the league or at least the community side of it as it will once again spilt the already threadbare community. I agree with Pedy's point about the National Tournaments being balanced by the Champions League but I just think that moving to Big Easy will alienate the league from possible participants from YeS as well as disadvantage those who played in that league already. The fun/playstyle can be arueged against of course and I won't go into that now seeing as it is all about the individuals opinion, but I would just like to say that regardless it is easier to bus in Big Easy than in Big, and that is in no way an advantage.

And the thing about bussing - It only works if teams attack through the corners - however many good teams do not attrack through the corner in BIG EASY but through the middle - another difference from big - and you cannot simply 'bus' there as you either need to man mark each player - which is fvcking hard if the opposing team has a compact and close triangle/square formation or do like a zonal thing anyways its still pretty hard you need to be an organized team nevertheless to be able to defend against good teams.

There isn't many big ez leagues out there, it'll attract more foreign players to join. If there was a big ez league playable for me then i would wanna play there. When I started playing on big ez i hated it but when i got used to it I started to prefer it. In big,teams pretty much have the same style of play, ie. getting to the corner and pass back to the dm when needed. From what i've seen theres alot of different styles to play in big ez in defending and attacking. UK do quite bad in the country championship and thats mainly because we don't have enough experience. There's players that should be in the UK squad but their judged on how they play on big in past cc's (i think).

I pretty much agree with what dooms said. Forgetting the international tournaments which don't really matter for FM the main reason I prefer Big Easy is that it's simply more fun to play imo. I feel like the 3man def rule is artificial and restricting, in my experience Big Easy allows for much more creativity and allows a team game where everyone is involved in both attack and defence.

I'm not gonna try force my opinions on others but don't just say 'big ez sucks' without giving it a chance first. Everyone said the same about 4v4 and in the end people ended up prefering it.
