Did you remember when in 2015 rocket league was out, all the haxball community said that it was trash compared to haxball. Right now that game has over 1 million of concurrent players while haxball can't reach more than 1k concurrent players. This is the clear example of the fact that if the game receives good updates (also if it's not that good) it can become viral

So what are you even trying to prove? If basro dedicated more of his time and efforts into haxball years ago, there'd be a very high chance that haxball would be up there with rocket league and dare I say even csgo, lol, dota in terms of player count. I'm still convinced that haxball is/would be the perfect esports game, closest to real sports, because of full control (almost, until extrapolation and fake x is a feature that won't hold true), simplistic gameplay, but very hard to master/get on the top level, imo, rocket league can't compare to that, it's more flashy, complex, offers weird boosts which makes the game arcadish and not so much realistic and esports like. But again, I don't know what you're even trying to prove.

Haxball isn't entertaining to watch (if you've played enough you can predict what will happen when u watch, before it has happened), so it will never be like the big esports games, sadly.

Every game is predictable in some way, as better you know it as more predictable it is ofc
