If he agrees, yes. Remember that you'll have to release two players at the end of the season though.

I didn't bother releasing CB since he stopped playing and I thought he would be released by default. Then they tell me that he's not and that I have to officially do it, but I wanted to keep him on the team just in case while the limit was being raised anyway. Then suddenly he's released by some admin and shows up as a free agent the same day ready to play again and about to be signed by another team. I feel cheated.

also read my post on free agency...its a maybe at best and even if I am playing it wont be 100%

I presumed you would release him as otherwise you'd have 6 team members.

I'm not mad at you CB, a bit disappointed perhaps that you didn't let know that you were coming back before you signed up as free agent. And if you're no longer interested in playing for us that would be cool too had you talked to me. However, I feel like I'm being cheated by the "rules" of this league and the admin(s) who did this.

I only just found out I was maybe coming back so I posted on free agency as a heads up. I need to accept an offer before its official so I can still be signed by any team.

Then again, if my team was already full, I don't think it's fair that any admin may decide to release one of my players without even letting me know instead of just telling me my team is full and I have to release one myself.

He was left on your team as he said he wasn't playing and I felt it was a nice gesture to leave him in the pink till he came back.
And he was still on the roster when the squad limit was 4 and you had 5 anyway.
