Week 3 & 4 Review

Postby Maddude » January 18th, 2012, 11:58 am

Oh hai, welcome to the week 3&4 review with moi, CrossChap.

[color=#00A6FF]1. ARRIBA (6-1-1) [5-1-0 in league]

Well this team continues to show why they won season 1 with a wrecking ball of 4 out of 4 wins over the last two weeks, now 4 points clear teams may be left in the dust if this team beats the two teams fighting to get back up to the top. With deer having the most goals and most assists so far this season whilst he's playing more "defensively" (lul k) it's scary to think if he played offensively and pass this team would be too hard to beat. Whilst F1 has had a lack of playing time due to lag or wanting rookie suki to play more as suki has put up some impressive stats of his own to match the scary faced welsh man. This team will be even more deadly next season and look set to win this season again already.

2. Cathletico (5-3-0) [3-3-0 in league]
This team is the only team to still be undefeated this season as the defensive duo of opc and Cathalio has been watertight, the only main goals let in is when these two have been split up for a more attacking lineup (lul me in mid ;D ). This team has got to the cup semi-finals and tomorrows matches will depend on the outcome of DM V ACDP, looking to get to the finals this team will need to concentrate on both their cup goals and league goals as I am only good in cup (>div2) whilst opc has been the main star this season with 8 goals and 7 assists meaning he's joint top assister so far. attaxsh0t also has an impressive record when looking at how many halves played with 8 goals of his own.
Cathletico picked up 3 out of 4 wins these last two weeks but after the league game against CB's they are now 4 points behind the leader and playing against them on Sunday it could make or break their league campaign.

3. Bombay Badboys (5-0-3) [4-0-2 in league]
This team once again manages to go for broke by having a stellar 3 out of 4 wins this past two weeks this team looks like the favourites for second, can they overcome the top two teams in the weeks coming up to gain that 1st or 2nd place finish or run out of steam. With captain GOKU not being around for some matches these last two weeks one man (a polish hitman) has stepped up to the plate and delivered well for BB's when needed. Whilst rising hasn't put up as much stats this season maybe due to the lack of playing time with his captain GOKU who had a great attacking duo last season this may be the killer blow in the team unless Zizou and Rising can get the same fluidity of passing together.
Whilst attacking may be shaky their defence is solid with Cheese in between the posts and Zizou not being a defensively unaware mong this team can be sure their defence is solid.

4. NWA (3-0-4) [2-0-4 in league]
With this team getting 0 points out of the previous three matches this team is just looking to stay away from relegation at the moment with not much chance but may get a streak to push for third it doesn't seem likely. Whilst Cookies has been pretty great at the back the goals are going to be let in eventually when NWA can't keep up the attacking pressure long enough to score. Captain Smiley is the main attacking threat for NWA so look for him to pair up with any of Mata/Lekum/Fabregas to produce the goals this team needs to be winning the games. This team needs to do well in their next two weeks or will be fighting around at the bottom and may even drop down to 5th.

5. Circle's Boys (2-3-3) [1-2-3] in league]
With this team only having one win against 6th placed Soccerettes yet only one point behind 4th due to two draws against Cathletico which proves CB's are Cathletico's kryptonite (CB's V Cathletico Record: 2-2-0) this team will be pushing for 4th and away from that >div2, with 7 or 8 teams next season this team should be able to compete at mid table depending on who they draft next season. With captain Vargo at the back this team has started to gel nicely in their own half whilst only having 3 active members may hurt the team in weeks to come even though their are lots of decent free agents not getting any game time at the moment (:<).

6. Soccerettes (0-0-7) [0-0-6] in league]
This team is worrisome as they could not manage to beat fellow bottom tabler's CB's in two consecutive matches, whilst the new addition of poppydan is nice it may not be enough to push off the bottom and reach even 5th, this team will need to get their first win to gain confidence and then continue on to beat others to try to get out of relegation. This team may be looking to beat season 1 leftovers record of only winning 1/12 matches last season this team may be looking to drop down to div2 and just gain confidence and a solid core for the team to play in div1 in future seasons to come. Socrates or whoever the captain will be will need to be smart in the draft to pick players that are key to help them win.
