Matchday 5 Preview

Postby Guest » January 11th, 2012, 9:45 pm

In the aftermath of a great cup weekend, it's back to league action again. For many, they will be turning over a new leaf at new clubs - and especially as the transfer window has just opened. So, let's see about what we can expect from the teams tomorrow night...

Division 1

CircleBoys vs Bombay Badboys

CircleBoys have been on the up recently, after winning their last two games. They will be on the up, and looking to push higher in the table. Fergy has been somewhat something of a great figure recently, most notably scoring a great cup winner on Sunday. Bombay Badboys on the other hand, have also come out on the back of a good win. Their league form hasn't been too great recently after a blistering start to the season, so they'll be looking to get back to winning ways here. Key men for me will be DDS, who is likely to make his impact on the CircleBoys team, and GOKU, who will try to master the midfield battle.

Socerettes vs Cathletico Maddudes

Socerettes continued their unfortunate spell of defeats with a 1-0 scoreline against CircleBoys on Sunday however, even after the departures of both socrates and Kaka recently, their squad is immense in abiltiy. There was a little mix-up yesterday involving a proposed transfer for Rachel, but their sights are set on beating Cathletico Maddudes to go onto bigger and better things. Cathletico Maddudes, meanwhile, look to pick up another win in their hunt for the title, and have been on some good form recently. Donny will probably be the key man in this game for Socerettes, as he looks to make his mark as a captain again. Then Cathalio is the probably key man for Cathletico Maddudes, hoping to pick up another win.

ARRIBA vs NWA

A tasy fixture in this one tomorrow. After a more or less average performance against Bayern Neverlosin in the cup, ARRIBA look to get revenge for their defeat to NWA in the cup, and they are looking to go on the attacking front. NWA on the other hand, are having a good season in division one, and will want to keep a good rhythm going. So the key players here will be jonnyynnoj, looking to captain his team to victory in an intense fixture, and Cookies, who will want to do his best to keep out a strong ARRIBA attack.

Division 2

Deadly Monkeys vs MasterChefs

A great class to be played tomorrow in division 2, with the Deadly Monkeys eager to get a win that they will have to work their socks of for. They've got an impressive squad in all areas but haven't produced as many thought they would. Yesterday, there was a slight mix up in a trasnfer situation with Rachel, so they will hope it doesn't bother them that much. As for MasterChefs, they go into this game with a 100% league record intact. Another win will be sought after. Both teams were not in cup action at the weekend, so energy levels will be exteremely high. Key ,an for Deadly Monkeys in this game will be Aaron, looking to keep out the attack of the MasterChefs, and Chef, who will be looking to lead his team to another victory.

AC Dead People vs Shock Tactix

Another good encounter to be played here, with AC Dead People on a good flourish of league form. They were unfortunate to lose heavily in the cup at the weekend, but those matters will be dealt with in the last round of group games. As for Shock Tactix, they go into this game with some new hope, including new players and a new captains among other things. So, the key men here will be Edgar Davids, looking to carve the Shock Tactix defence open, and cribs for Shock Tactix, at a new team and looking to make his mark again.

Bayern Noverlosin vs Action Men

Both teams are whether they do not deserve to be - near the foot of the divsion 2 table. There have been many changes to the Bayern Neverlosin team, so they'll be hoping things begin well again. However, Action Men can be a forced to be reckoned with if their tactics work correctly. Tanzim is looking for his team to dominate this battle. So I can see NJ being key man for Neverlosin here - a real game changer at a new team. At the same time, Tanzim would also like to make his mark as new captain of Action Men.

It's going to be a very exciting night of haxball acton in both leagues tomorrow then. I look forward to seeing you there and witnessing the intensity of Matchday 5. Thanks for reading and goodbye until next time.
