so what is weird about those songs ren

First one's Mozart composing a round for six voices about kissing arses; which I suspect would surprise anyone who hadn't heard it before or didn't know much about Mozart.

Second one's Eurovision nonsense, which in my mind would be explanation enough, but beyond the usual word salad lyrics it's also sung in some weird Austrian dialect (Styrian? correct me if I'm wrong), which would be hard even for a lot of Germans to make head or tail of.

Third one I suppose is the least weird of them all, but the weird vocal effects I think are enough to qualify it.

And lastly the Can song is an oddity whichever way you look at it; on the surface the husky tones of the vocals seem already a bit out of place in what is ostensibly a disco song, but if you know anything about Can it's that they're renowned as a legendary German progressive rock outfit, and they only ended up making this song to appease their record label who demanded a track they could market as a single; their response was this, which not only became surprisingly successful by their standards (it was a top 40 hit in the UK, hence the appearance on TOTP), but also the lyrics basicallly make a mockery of the task that they were given.
